In addition to offering financial support for classrooms, the PAC recognizes teachers and staff throughout the school year.
There are so many people who make Meadowlark a good place for our kids. Teacher and staff appreciation efforts are our way of thanking them for the patience and energy they bring to school every day.
The PAC’s appreciation volunteers help plan meals during Parent-Teacher Conferences, seasonal treats, and small surprises for the whole team. Past favorites include a hot chocolate bar, smoothies, caramel apple nachos, and a spring staff egg hunt with donated gift cards.
During Appreciation Week in May, we do something special each day, from breakfast, lunch, and snacks to notes of encouragement and other surprises.
Business sponsorships go a long way toward making this week possible. Donated meals, gift cards, giveaways, and financial contributions help us treat all of the Meadowlark employees. If your business would like to pitch in, we’d love to hear from you.
Bring food, drinks, or supplies from an appreciation sign-up.
Lend a hand with setup, serving, or cleanup.
Donate gift cards or connect us with a local business.
Help plan an activity or join the appreciation committee.
Watch PAC emails and social media for current requests. You’re welcome to help with just one activity or suggest new ideas!
A thoughtful thank-you doesn’t need to wait for a special event or cost anything. Help your child write a note, send an email about something that made a difference, or offer to help with a classroom task.
Think beyond your child’s teacher, too. Office staff, custodians, paraprofessionals, specialists, and many others help make each school day work. Letting someone know you notice their efforts can mean a lot.
